The early muslim conquest is a history that seems impossible in the eyes. A Arabic tribal confederation who have almost no experience with large warfare and lacks the equipment needed defeated two of the world's strongest empires. However, If we look deeper in, we could see the key.

When the muslim armies entered Ctesiphon, the capitol city of the Sasanian empire, one of the biggest cities in the world at that time and the centre of the Persian civilization, would probably be rubbing their eyes since it was even more than dreaming decades back. However, in the decades, they have made it from a small religion and a small tribal confederation in the desert of the Arabian peninsula to a large empire and have conquered a force they have never dreamed of.

The Arabic early conquest is a great demonstration of what miracle means. The conquest is very successful not only due to the high quality and morale of the Muslim forces but also due to a 26 years long war between the enemies of the early muslim conquest. The Byzantine empire and the Sassanian Empire have been pouring large amount of resources into the war that lasted for 16 years. The two countries have long been old enemy with each other and both of them hope to eliminate the other one and for all. However, the war went from early advancement to a Stalemate with both side enjoying their fair share of victory and defeat. The war is devastating to the middle east as tens of thousands of people are killed while millions displaced. Both empires poured large amount of resources into the war and lost a great amount of high quality soldiers and generals which allowed the Muslims to fight an exhausted enemy. By the end of the Byzantine Persian war, both empires have already been emptied with most of their high quality generals and soldiers dead in the battlefield. The economy of both empire have also been damaged and both empire have been left with an hollow shell. Yet, the hollow shell is still an overwhelming force to the early Muslim.

The early muslim conquest has a central weapon which is religion. It is one of the first time that faith have been used to unify an army and that has been proven to be a great weapon. Religion is like a glue that sticks the muslim army under one direction which is to fight for the spread of Islam and that the war they are fighting is a holy war which made them feel proud to participate. The muslims also have a great desire for war since a war is where they are going to find faith to be a common desire and a common goal to achieve which can heal any personal division and is a great glue for unity. Given these circumstances, the muslim soldiers would not fear about any hardship or any temporary failure since they belief that all these are part time challenges that lies in their way of winning the holy war and spread their great religion which made them immune against temporary challenges since they believe that what they are doing is absolutely right and that they should continue on their path no matter what challenges because these are all challenges that they can get through in their long path to final victory. They believe that their cause is right which united them and raised their moral and their combat spirit which made them fierce warriors.

Another factor is the system of warfare of the muslims. The muslim military is highly mobile with their soldiers fierce while the generals wise with a tactics and strategy that is near perfection. The Calvary force would usually go roundabout against the enemy force and attack them from the back while the infantry would hold to their ground and give massive casualties to their enemies. The muslims actively use the craftsmen and the engineer that they capture to construct advanced equipments that would later be proofed to be very useful in future fighting. The Muslims also have an advantage of close pitched battle. At the time, hostile armies would send their champion in combat to fight against one another and it's often the muslims who come first which damages the enemy morale and increases the muslim morale. The muslim actively uses the tactic of sandwich where they would have their best warriors go to the back of the enemy and attack the enemy from back and front. The muslim also cut through the interval of enemy position and enemy line and surround the enemy forces from all front. The muslim are also great at using weather. In one battle against the Persians, the Muslim army used the sandstorm which they are used to to attack the Persians who live in places where sandstorm is rare to attack and gained an victory. these tactics are the key to the high victory rate of the battles in the early muslim conquest.

The early muslim conquest in a miracle. However, this miracle is built on the highly sophisticated muslim tactics and equipments, the unity of the muslims, and the exhaustion of their enemy. This is a legend that made grate influence to the world for millennials to come.
